Please initiate the application process for a new service line with Foothills Gas well ahead of your projected
construction time. The cost to install a new service line is based on what type of service you require (Rural, Urban, Commercial/Industrial, Prepaid) and your projected annual BTU load.

Does Foothills Gas perform regular leak inspections on gas lines?
Yes, every year! Our Co-op employs a third party company to determine any leaks in our distribution system. Low and high pressure natural gas lines are walked manually with the aid of leak detection and surveying equipment. This type of maintenance will identify any leaks, ensure accurately surveyed asbuilt maps, identify pipeline class locations, and make certain pipelines are designed properly and cathodic protection is intact.
Can Foothills Gas mark the gas lines on my property? How much will this cost me?
Yes, we can! AND ITS FREE!! Simply submit a locate request through Utility Safety Partners and we will respond as soon as scheduled. Please note we DO NOT respond to any locate requests without a locate ticket from Utility Safety Partners
There is a gas line on my property where I am planning to build my new house. Can I get the line moved?
In most cases, yes but we must review this request on site. This is a billable service so if you need a line moved on your property, please contact the office and get a FREE cost estimate
